During Civic Learning Week, the National Conference on Citizenship explores the Institute for Citizens and Scholars’ report, Mapping Civic Measurement. The report reviews and analyzes existing literature, practices, and over 200 tools in use by the broader civic field, to improve democracy by measuring it more effectively and setting goals for progress.

FEEA Scholarship Deadline: March 16

The deadline for FEEA’s Merit-Scholarship program is March 16. With just a single application we’ve made over 200 scholarships available for federal public servants, postal employees, and their spouses, children, and grandchildren.

National Academy of Public Administration Fellows

NAPA seeks to enhance government effectiveness on a national and international level, and encourages current Fellows to identify and recommend highly qualified candidates who can contribute to this mission. Diversity is also recognized as essential for achieving the Academy’s objectives, and all candidate recommendations must be submitted to the Academy offices by April 30, 2023.

The Elliot L. Richardson Prize

The National Academy of Public Administration calling for nominations for the Elliot L. Richardson Prize. The prestigious award is presented biennially to individuals who exemplify public service virtues demonstrated by Elliot L. Richardson, the only individual to serve in four Cabinet-level positions in the US government. Recipients are selected by a nominating committee based on their achievements in advancing the public good, dedication to long-term public service, and demonstration of generosity of spirit, thoughtfulness, courage, and integrity. Nominations must be submitted by April 30, 2023.
