It‘s Census Day! Make Sure You’re Counted.

2020 census form on top of American flag click for more info

TODAY IS CENSUS DAY

Making sure you and your household members are counted in the 2020 Census is no joke. Once every decade, the U.S. Government undertakes a census to count every person living in the U.S. and its territories. The information is used to inform federal, state, and local services provided in communities all across the country, as well as determining how many Representatives each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives.

April 1 is not a deadline — you can respond before or after today — but the number of people living in your household today is what is counted. You can complete and mail back the form sent to your home, or respond online or by phone.
