It’s American Heart Month
Heart disease is one of the leading causes of disability and death in the United States, so it’s important to know your risk factors and family medical history, and to talk to your doctor about what you can do to maintain or improve your heart health. While risk generally rises with age, cardiovascular diseases can affect people at any age, including some congenital conditions that affect children.
