It’s National Consumer Protection Week!

IT’S NATIONAL CONSUMER PROTECTION WEEK!

Need to know more about the consumer safeguards in place for buying a new car, getting a mortgage, or dealing with debt collectors? There are a number of agencies and resources that can help protect you from being the victim of a financial scam or provide assistance if you experience fraud or unfair practices.

You can learn more about known scams and how to protect yourself or a loved one from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, file a complaint about unfair business practices with the Federal Trade Commission, or search for the Consumer Protection Office in your state.
