Chad Hooper

Chad Hooper is employed by the Internal Revenue Service in Philadelphia, PA, and is concurrently serving as National President of the Professional Managers Association.

Mr. Hooper is a third-generation federal manager who led teams in the fashion, hospitality, and healthcare sectors prior to joining the Civil Service in 2009.  He instructs transformational leadership classes to new and current managers within the IRS and serves as a mentor. Mr. Hooper attended the University of Hawaii, the University of Montana, and New England College.  He holds a BA in Economics and an MS in Forensic Accounting.

Mr. Hooper currently serves as a Board Director at Large for the South Philly Food Co-op and leads its governance committee. He provides support and advice to new or struggling co-ops throughout the Philadelphia and New York areas.

Mr. Hooper is a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) and was a member of the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) until he joined management. He is a Lifetime Member of Federally Employed Women (FEW).
