Scholarships Change Lives: Meet Alexander
Each year, FEEA changes the lives of more than 200 college students with our scholarship program. Will you help us continue to make college more affordable for federal families?
Alexander is a freshman at Bridgewater State University, studying biology. His father has served in the U.S. Postal Service for more than 14 years. During his high school years, Alexander progressed from mentee to mentor in his school’s peer mentoring program, where he enjoyed helping younger students acclimate to high school and make new friends. He was also an active volunteer at a local food pantry.
On receiving a FEEA scholarship, Alexander said, “As someone who comes from a working class family, every scholarship I receive will help lessen the amount of debt I will be in upon the completion of my degree… My parents are very proud that I will be the first in my family to go to college.”
Please help us ensure more students like Alexander can pursue an education.
